Galley Proof

A galley proof is an early version of a book or article that is printed or digitally shared for the purpose of final review and proofreading before the content is published. It allows authors, editors, and proofreaders to spot any last-minute errors in layout, grammar, or formatting.

Galley proofs are not the final product but are typically close in appearance to the finished version. They may also be sent to reviewers or media outlets for early evaluation before the official release.
