Sync Site Content
Sync Site Content pulls the latest posts and pages from your connected sites into Tenwrite’s content index.
Use it when you’ve changed something directly in WordPress or Blogger and want My Posts to reflect that change right away.
What It Updates
Section titled “What It Updates”When you run Sync Site Content, Tenwrite refreshes:
- indexed posts
- indexed pages
- post and page counts shown in Tenwrite
- last-sync status used by My Sites and My Posts
This updates Tenwrite’s view of your content. It does not push new edits out to your site.
Where to Find It
Section titled “Where to Find It”You can start Sync Site Content from:
- the Quick Actions card on My Sites
- a site or blog row’s Actions menu on My Sites
- the header area on My Posts
When to Use It
Section titled “When to Use It”Use Sync Site Content when:
- you edited a post directly in WordPress or Blogger
- you published or unpublished content outside Tenwrite
- you want the My Posts table to show the latest site state immediately
What It Does Not Do
Section titled “What It Does Not Do”Sync Site Content is not the same as Sync Post.
- Sync Site Content pulls content from your site into Tenwrite
- Sync Post pushes updates from a linked Google Doc into one existing post or page
If your Google Doc is the source of truth and you want to update the live post, use Sync Post instead.
What You’ll See During a Sync
Section titled “What You’ll See During a Sync”Once sync starts, Tenwrite shows progress in the UI.
- The button changes to a syncing state
- progress can continue in the background
- when the sync finishes, Tenwrite updates the indexed content and last-sync state
Limits and Automatic Refresh
Section titled “Limits and Automatic Refresh”Tenwrite also refreshes the content index automatically twice a day.
Manual Sync Site Content runs are rate-limited to once per hour on Starter and Pro plans. Agency plan users can sync more frequently.
WordPress and Blogger
Section titled “WordPress and Blogger”The action works the same way on both platforms:
- WordPress pulls the latest posts and pages from connected WordPress sites
- Blogger pulls the latest posts and pages from connected Blogger blogs
