Document Frontmatter Overview
Document Frontmatter lets you control post metadata directly in your Google Docs using a simple table. Set title, tags, status, publish date, and more without filling export forms.

How It Works
Section titled “How It Works”- Insert the table:
Extensions > Tenwrite > Frontmatter> Insert your platform’s frontmatter - Customize values: Edit the second column with your post settings
- Placement: The frontmatter table must be the very first element at the top of your Google Doc
- Clean output: Tenwrite reads the table during export, but removes it from the final published post so your readers never see it
- Publish: Works with manual export, Drive automation, and Sheet automation
