• Added: Short tutorial links beneath Read Guide on supported add-on pages, including WordPress and Blogger exports, SEO Tracker, and AI Settings. Videos open on YouTube while your add-on stays open.
• Fixed: AI Settings opens inside the add-on instead of sending you to the web dashboard. Your existing add-on sign-in is kept.

15 October 2026 — Helpful videos, right where you need them

• Improved: The sign-in page explains which Google account to use: the one you use for Docs or Drive, even if it differs from your work email.
• Updated: The website shows AI publishing in three steps: choose fields, generate suggestions, and review the results. Real screenshots distinguish generated text from manual fields, and the Content Index preview now shows the latest search, filters, and post statuses.

14 October 2026 — YouTube videos fit your article

• Fixed: Embedded YouTube videos stay within your article's text column instead of appearing off to the side. Players resize for smaller screens while keeping their widescreen proportions, in WordPress Gutenberg, Classic HTML and Blogger exports.
• Fixed: Text, images and supported media sharing a paragraph with a YouTube video are preserved. Videos inside table cells also keep their responsive sizing.

To update videos in an existing post, use Sync Post from its linked Google Doc. Before syncing, check that the document's frontmatter has the publication status you want. No theme changes are needed.

12 October 2026 — AI publishing details you can review and control

• Added: Generate selected publishing details in New Export and Update Post, in the web app or Google Docs add-on. Review and edit the results before exporting. Exporting or saving alone does not start AI generation or spend AI credits.
• Added: AI can suggest WordPress categories and tags, Blogger labels, and image alt text. Self-hosted WordPress sites can also generate an SEO title, meta description and focus keyword with the Tenwrite WordPress plugin and supported Yoast SEO or Rank Math fields. Existing useful values can be kept.
• Added: Pro and Lifetime plans include 30 AI credits per month. Agency includes 75, shared across its members. One page generation pass costs one credit for usable results, including all selected fields and multiple images. Credits reset on the first day of each month in UTC; unused credits do not roll over.
• Added: AI Settings includes separate preferences for each site. Prefer existing categories, tags or labels, or allow new terms when none fit. Set a tag or label limit from 1 to 10, with 5 as the default. Unmatched terms stay empty when new suggestions are disabled.
• Added: Drive and Sheets automations generate only supported fields marked with #GENERATE#. Empty fields do not request AI. After the first generation, unchanged documents do not generate again or spend another credit; changed documents can generate the marked fields again.
• Improved: Automation results and enabled Sheet feedback show AI credit usage and warnings. If credits run out, the run continues without filling AI-marked fields and reports the affected documents. A definite failed automated export returns its credit; manual suggestions remain charged once usable results are returned, even if you do not publish them.
• Added: View current and previous months in AI Settings, with credit balances and usage by site, feature and source. Agency owners can see usage by member; members see shared totals and their own usage. Reports remain available after credits run out, with a link to contact support for more credits.
• Fixed: Later updates without Generate preserve reviewed image alt text when the image and its source context still match, including your edits to AI suggestions. Source changes are checked before reuse. If a reviewed image cannot be verified, the update asks you to retry before changing the post.

11 October 2026 — A clearer start to your first export

• Improved: New users now see the export guide in a welcome popup after their first sign-in, including when they land directly on a dashboard. Choose WordPress or Blogger, then continue to connect your destination and export a Google Doc.
• Improved: Starting or resuming an unfinished guide from Support opens a popup too. You can skip or exit the guide, and skipping stays saved when you refresh or move between pages.

10 October 2026 — A guide to your first export

• Added: New accounts can follow an export guide in the web app or the Google Docs add-on. Choose WordPress or Blogger, connect a destination, select a Google Doc, and review your post before exporting. The guide is available on every plan.
• Added: Choose whether to keep your post as a draft, publish it, or schedule it. When your Doc already has post settings, the guide shows which settings come from the document.
• Improved: The guide remembers your progress through a refresh or connection step and checks an export's result before offering another attempt. Completed exports show their result and any warnings.
• Added: Open the export guide from Support whenever you need it. You can exit during the guide, finish after exporting, and take a short optional tour of New Export, My Posts and Support.

10 October 2026 — Clearer exports and better WordPress formatting

• Fixed: Export confirmation and completion prompts display correctly without interfering with the export reward prompt.
• Improved: Before a new Export, Tenwrite warns you if the document is already linked to a post on the selected site. You can open the existing post to update it instead, or continue to create a new one.
• Fixed: Adding a post-settings table to your Google Doc no longer fills in a new URL slug from the document title. Sync keeps an existing WordPress post's URL when you have not supplied a slug change.
• Fixed: Newly inserted post-settings tables use normal text styling, even when the surrounding document uses Heading 1 or other custom formatting.
• Improved: WordPress SEO fields explain when the Tenwrite plugin is needed to save SEO settings to a self-hosted WordPress site.
• Fixed: Image alt text and merged table cells are preserved when converting Google Docs. WordPress exports also preserve right-to-left text, and nested bullet points no longer appear more than once.
• Improved: WordPress Export, Sync, Edit and automation results show a warning when an image cannot be copied to your site, so you can check the affected content.
• Fixed: New WordPress posts use your site's default comment and pingback settings unless you choose a different setting. Automatic keeps the current settings when updating an existing post.
• Fixed: Connected-site usage no longer counts disconnected WordPress sites.
• Fixed: A previously skipped Sheet row can export after you fill in its missing SITE value.
• Fixed: If WordPress Auto Connect fails, the address you entered carries over to Manual connection and is kept when you retry Auto Connect.
• Improved: When Google Drive confirms that a Doc is in Trash, Tenwrite tells you to restore it before trying again.
• Fixed: Start Export stays disabled until you select at least one document, with a message explaining what to do next.
• Improved: Inactive destinations remain visible and are labelled clearly, while Export chooses an active destination. Plan information explains that the destination allowance is shared across WordPress and Blogger and shows which destinations remain active.
• Improved: Automations show when your plan prevents them from running, with a reason and a link to review your plan. Saved enabled schedules are kept. Drive automations also explain when their destination is inactive or unavailable.
• Fixed: Usage progress shows 1 out of 100 as 1%. Empty first-page results no longer show unnecessary pagination; empty later pages still let you return to earlier results. The footer displays the current year automatically.

9 October 2026 — Clearer export settings while loading

• Fixed: When you select a document or refresh its settings, the WordPress and Blogger export forms wait until Tenwrite finishes checking frontmatter before you can edit the document's export fields. Settings already filled in your Google Doc remain locked, so the form does not briefly offer changes that frontmatter would override.
• Unchanged: Empty frontmatter fields still use your export form choices. Shared formatting controls remain available for the batch, with each document's own overrides shown separately.

October 2026 — Easier scheduling and post settings

• Added: A guided editor for frontmatter—the post settings stored at the top of your Google Doc. Choose Edit frontmatter in the web app or Insert frontmatter in the Google Docs add-on to add or edit settings without replacing your existing table or custom rows.
• Improved: Set a future publish date in the editor to schedule a WordPress or Blogger post. Choose Keep as draft if it is not ready. Existing drafts with a publish date stay drafts unless you choose Schedule this post.
• Added: A clear preview before Export or Sync shows whether your post will stay a draft, publish or be scheduled. Scheduled dates use the timezone saved in your Tenwrite account.
• Fixed: Sync keeps the post's existing publication status when you have not requested a publication change. Editing a title or leaving settings empty will not turn a published post into a draft.
